The Biodiversity Heritage Library for Europe (BHL-Europe) project is coming to an end this year. We would like to celebrate the achievements of the project, but also would like to broaden our horizon. Therefore, we build a program for the final events to engage with our user community and facilitate the networking and dissemination among the project members and our stakeholders and users. All parts of the event will take place in the centre of Berlin between 2 and 5 June 2012.
We start with a public exhibition on the occassion of the Long Night of Science on 2 June 2012 in the Museum für Naturkunde. On 4 June 2012 we organise an international scientific symposium (Communicating Biological Diversity). On 5 June 2012 we organise a BHL-Europe demonstration and training day, to familiarise our stakeholders with the tools and services developed by the BHL-Europe project. More information is available here: . Participation for 4-5 June 2012 is possible without a registration fee, but you still need to be properly registered to have access to the event.
Following the public events, we have the official review meeting on 6 June 2012. Please be aware, this is not a public meeting and only open for BHL-Europe consortium partners. The partners of the project you find at the BHL-Europe Web site.
The registration for the events is open from now until 22 April 2012: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/bhle-finals.
